Paniolo Hale Condo C3 - About Our Condo

Welcome to Paniolo Hale C3. We bought this condo newly remodeled in February 2006. We feel very lucky that we found the condo most perfect for us. We have visited Molokai 6 times since January 2000. The east end of Molokai has beautiful mountains, Halawa Valley and a beautiful shoreline. However, once we stayed on the west end, we knew it was perfect for us. The west end is drier, easier to access from the airport and Kaunakakai, and offers beautiful sunsets over Oahu , 25 miles away. There are multiple beaches within walking distance along the dramatic coastline. A love scene for “Pirates of the Caribbean 3” was filmed at neighboring Make Horse Beach in Jan 2007. Papohaku Beach, a nearly 3 mile long white sand beach is within walking distance from the condo. Dixie Maru Beach (our favorite) is only a 5 minute car ride away. The Kaluakoi golf course, a 6564 yard championship course designed by Ted Robinson, is rated as one of the top in Hawaii. Located along the coast by Paniolo Hale, it is never crowded and tee time is when you show up. The rates are very inexpensive. There is information available in the condo on Molokai activities. We would also gladly answer questions via e-mail before your vacation.

Our condo is nestled among the trees, set back from the parking lot. You fall asleep at night to the sound of the trade winds blowing through the open, corner unit “tree house.” In the morning you are awakened by the many birds in Paniolo Hale and the sound of the crashing waves in the winter. In the summer, the ocean is calm and swimming is fabulous all along the west end. C3 is located (thankfully) off the golf course but still has a beautiful partial view of the ocean and gardens. The lanai is fully screened and comfortable furnished with all bamboo furniture. The floors and cathedral ceilings throughout the condo are wood. There are skylights in the bathroom and the kitchen. There is no AC in any condo on Molokai, yet our inside temp ranges from 72 to 80 degrees in the summer and is always comfortable due to the open floor plan. The newly tiled bathroom is sparkling and inviting. The kitchen is stocked with all the essentials you could need, including microwave, coffee maker and grinder, rice cooker, and blender. There is a stackable washer and dryer in the unit. The cable equipped TV comes with a combo DVD, CD and VCR player. The new king size bed has quality bedding and allows privacy even with the doors open thanks to the bamboo growing along that part of the porch. There are avocado, papaya, banana, lemon, and lime trees ripe at varying seasons. The condo has been newly decorated with art from the Molokai Artists Guild. All of this makes our condo “the perfect Hawaiian vacation rental”!
